What is a zine?
A zine is a collaborative fan project, in which fans for a certain piece of media or a certain theme come together to create content.What is the zine’s theme?

The zine will be for charity. The charity is currently TBD as it will be decided by a poll with our contributors.Is this a digital or physical zine?
Undercurrent will have a digital and a physical release.How will contributors be compensated?
All contributors will receive at minimum a free digital copy of the zine. Contributors will be able to purchase copies of the zine and merchandise at production cost. Compensation after this will depend on the success of the project, but could potentially consist of a free copy of the zine, a free copy of the zine with shipping, or a full bundle.Is there an age restriction?
As there is a NSFW aspect, we ask that all participants are at least 18 years old on or before 21st July 2025.Can I reuse work for this zine?
No, we ask that all work submitted to the zine is new and created exclusively for the zine.Will there be guests?
Yes! We will take suggestions for guests during the interest check period, and will be sending out invites during the application period.What roles will be available?
We are predominantly looking for Page Artists, Merch Artists and Writers, but we are also looking for creators that don’t fit under those umbrellas, for example musicians or fabric artists.Where are the application guidelines?

Yes absolutely! We are happy to receive applications from people for multiple roles, but please note that you will most likely only be offered one role.Does my follower count impact my application?
While social media will be looked at briefly to check for any bigoted content, follower count will have absolutely no bearing on who is selected. Please keep in mind we are expecting a lot of applications and any rejections are not personal attacks.Are AUs allowed?
Yes! We are open to our contributors pitching AU concepts for their pieces, but we will have a cap on the number to keep the majority of our pieces in the canon universe.I have a question that isn’t answered here!
